Targeted metagenomics for fungi: Our brand new Fungi ITS Pipeline is live!
Following the enthusiastic reception of our 16S bacterial analysis pipeline, Genome Detective now provides a dedicated solution for targeted fungal identification using long-read sequencing technologies. We have added the newly validated Fungi ITS protocol to our standard lineup on Genome Detective.
Here is what this means for your laboratory:
Precise fungal classification: The pipeline targets the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region located between the 18S and 28S rRNA genes, delivering highly accurate fungal identification.
Seamless workflow flexibility: No need to alter your workflow. The pipeline supports a broad range of library prep methods and easily accepts reads spanning partial 18S or 28S regions.
Results in 5 minutes: Optimized for rapid processing, our pipeline slashes average computation times down to about 5 minutes per sample.
